iTunes problem: ksuser.dll is not a valid Windows image.

When I try to open iTunes, it will not open and the following error message
is prompted:

DDE Server Window: iTunes.exe - Bad Image The application or DLL
C:\windows\system32\ksuser.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check
this against your installation diskette.

What can I do to correct this problem?

Not sure which version of Windows you have. For my Vista Home Premium,
ksuser.dll is version 6.0.6000.16386 dated 11/2/2006.

Not sure it is related, but ks.sys was updated for my system by Vista
{important} April update KB 950127.
