Vista Updates Error

I ahve not been able to update since July 2007....I keep getting error
80080005...Everything I have tried to work around it wont let me download any
updates....Does anyone have any suggestions??? I am lost...I am running Vista
Ultimate on a Dell Insperion..Thanks.
