Problem installing updates for Office Pro 2007 and Vista

I have problems installing updates for Windows Office 2007 with error
WindowsUpdate_80070643 I have been looking all over the www and could not
find anything that helps. Did set out Kaspersky, start Office Source Engine,
reinstalled OSE and keep geting the same error, can anybody help me?

You receive an "Error 80070643" error message when you try to update Office
2003 by using Software Update Services:

You receive an error message when you try to install the 2007 Microsoft Office suite
Service Pack 1 (0x80070643)

Ignore the title, you may need to repair or reinstall Office 2007. Make sure you have your
CD and Product key.

I do have the same problem and all the procedures doesn´t work. My updates
are: "Security update for 2007 Microsoft Office System (KB960003)" and
"Security update for Microsoft Exzcel 2007 (KB959997)"

Please don´t show the same OSE solutions because it doesn´t work !!!

MS offers *no*-charge support for getting Security updates installed:

Try clearing hard drive space in system partition c:\. i was able to install
the SP for OFFICE

I solved the problem only when I reinstalled the windows vista, formatting
the HD, installing all the windows updates and then reinstalling the office
and after all the office updates. Now it is ok. I know that is a drastic
way to solve a update problem but was the only way after trying everything
about the OSE and others recomendations that i got via www
