Outlook 2003 Issue after Office 2003 Update 03.12.08

Have lost use of Outlook 2003 as of Wednesday, March 12th. Appears to
coincide with several (4) Auto updates with Office 2003 on that day.
Specific error is # 0x8004210a: the operation timed out waiting for a
response from the receiving (pop) server. Have used ISP to diagnose, no
issue with internet connectivity and access to Webmail. No functionality of
the factory installed Outlook 2003, which has been operating continously
since June, 2006. Are the any fixes available?
