Blue Screen asking if you recently added hardware or software

Ifl i leave my laptiop on almost evertime, I get a blue screen claiming
critical error, if you recently added software or hardware to check for any
mistakes doing so.

All programs work very well, have no idea why this screen keeps appearing
after lsaptop sits on for a whil without using it. It never comes on while in
use, just when idle.

What kind of blue screen?

You sure it's not a popup window from IE? Sh?tty companies will try and
disguise a web page to look like it's coming from your PC. If you click on a
link in the window, it'll either try to install malware or send you to a site
the says it has software to fix "ALL" your PC's problems.

Check the task manager to see if IEXPLORE.EXE is there - assuming you
believe IE is closed. If it is, it's probably malware. If so, something on
your PC is loading this crap.

These "windows" are generally very general in it's message.
