Error number: 0x80072EE7

Every time I try to do updates, I get the same error message. I have done
everything Microsoft said to do and even ran the auto fix program with no
luck. Please help.

This error code translates to ERROR_INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT. This could be caused by
firewall software blocking the Windows Update Site.

If indeed you have done everying MS said, then perhaps we need to look at another cause -

Click on TCP/IP, click Properties.
Make sure that "Obtain an IP address Automatically" is selected
Make sure that "Obtain DNS server address automatically" is selected.

If yes, then follow Steps 1 - 11 to run FixWareout.exe
Please post the 'report.txt' as described in Step 11 so that we can see
if the system was infected or still is.
