updating sound card get 80070103

I did my update two days now and after my update my sound card is not
recognize. i went to HP to get the driver but it say not the right driver.

this is another reason why i use Linux everything break in windows...i just
use this to do some school work..

Hi there,

Never take drivers from windows update unless they are intended for
Microsoft hardware.

If an updated driver is needed because the hardware does not work proper go
to the manufacturers website to look for an updated driver.

If it ain't broke: do not try to"FIX" it.

If you did take the optional drivers from windows update try booting last
known good configuration, rolling back on the driver or system restore or
restore from the system backup you hopefully made.

All drivers should be obtained from the manufacturer's site rather than from Windows
Update.
