error 0x80072f78 ie7 & xpsp2

Another fine ms product in the toilet, Everytime i access the microsoft
update site i get Error number: 0x80072F78 i went through the
troubleshooting & nothing seems to work, anyone know how to repair ie7?
about to goto firefox & take this crappy browser out. it says checking for
activex then i get this error, i went to other sites to test activex seems i
am ok just this update site.
