Hi, having the same issue with installing update for xp running service Pack2
the same error code: 0x80242006 - anybody have solutions? thanks

0x80242006 (-2145116154) SUS_E_UH_INVALIDMETADATA
The caller passed an update with invalid metadata to the handler


Suggest you manually download the update -
