WSUS 3
Hi,
I dont receive any notification on the client and checked in
windowsupdate file on the client which shows the url of my WSUS 3 server,
already ran wssus /reportnow and wsus /detectnow. what could be the problem.

Run this command:

wuauclt /detectnow

wait thirty minutes, then post the contents of WindowsUpdate.log starting from
the time you ran the wuauclt command.

Looks like a problem with the server, is this happening for all clients?

OK, I've tried so many things trying to get this to work and each creating
it's own issues. when I tried from the ie I got a file not found, but it
worked from port 80, so I change back to the standard port, and ran the
manual connect again. Here is what I got, also I tried clearing the cookies,
same effect

See also the thread titled "Failing search for updates after update to 3.0 SP1"
from Wade Godfrey. You might have the same problem.

From the log you've posted here it looks as if the server was on port 8530
rather than port 80, so you had this configured correctly the first time. It
really does look like you've got the same problem Wade Godfrey reported, so have
a look at that thread for a resolution.
