windows update

When attempting to access the Windows Update Web site i receive the following
message:
Thank you for your interest in obtaining updates from our site.

This website is designed to work with Microsoft Windows operating systems
only.
To find updates for Microsoft products that are designed for Macintosh
operating systems, please visit http://www.microsoft.com/mac/.
i have WIN XP SP2 IE7
i have delete the User Agent key but nothing

Prove it.

What do you see if you go to the Fiddler diagnostic page?

http://www.fiddlertool.com/useragent.aspx

Hint: do a Find (e.g. Ctrl-f) in that page for User-Agent:

and capture that whole line.
