Automatic Updates won't download-XP PRO

Automatic updates will not download. I get error code: 0X80070643. How do i
fix this problem?

I just had the problem 10 time sin the past few weeeks for Office Update for
Excel. Looked at many threads about register issues. In the end I turne off
my 3rd. party firewall and anti-virus and turned on the Windos firewall. The
next download attempt worked fine.
