Registry is an integral part of the Windows operating system. The
registry of a Windows based PC is used by the system to store vital
information about the hardware and software configuration along with
the data of system settings. Whenever any change is made in the
system, an entry is generated in the registry and the information
about the recent changes is stored in the registry file. But this
process is not absolutely flawless. As the outdated entries remain in
the registry along with the new entries, there are chances that your
PC has registry error.
There are many reasons behind accumulation of registry errors. The
most common cause of the Windows registry error is the accumulation of
the outdated entries. For example, when you are making any change in
the PC, the older entries for the previous settings become unimportant
as a new entry is generated in the registry for the new settings. But
these outdated registry entries are never automatically deleted from
the registry file making it cluttered with entries. Another cause of
the registry errors is the fragmented entries left by unsuccessful or
incomplete uninstallation procedures of any software....
