Automatic Updates

I have selected Automatic Updates, but do not want my Windows Media Player 10
updated to 11. How can I keep this from happening?

XP I presume?

I simply just un checked it, in the windows update section under advanced or
something. (I remember doing that). I've since switched over to media 11 on
my xp machine because they ironed out some of the bug's. But staying with a
tried and true media 10, I can appreciate that.

You should be able to un check it. And hide it, as an option. Dig around it
is there. Microsoft loves to hide the option to hide such things, just
because they "deem" it's perfect and right for everyone....
