Toshiba TJ9-A200 CANNOT UPDATE WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM

Ok,

Simply this,

Prior to a rebuild, my laptop could connect to the update wirelessly, via
wireless N, or G settings. WPA, WPA2, WEP, either or, and EASILY update
freely.

Now every SINGLE time I downloaded MSN MESSENGER, it would DISCONNECT ME,
regardless if it was CABLE or WIRELESS.

Every single...EVERY TIME!!!! that I try WINDOWS or MICROSOFT UPDATE, it
DOES THE SAME!!!!

FRESH INSTALL, NO VIRUSES, NO SPYWARE, NO MALWARE, ALL TESTED BY NORTON,
F-SECURE, AVG, AD-AWARE, and SPYSWEEPER........

Not just "the basic" scans. THE THOROUGH, GO TILL ITS DONE TOMORROW
SCANS........

So if anyone can help me cure my laptop's interest to flip the bird and
REBOOT MY ROUTER EVERY TIME I TRIES TO DO THIS...

I have had to set it to DO NOT CHECK FOR UPDATES.... otherwise my laptop
NEVER HAS THE INTERNET...

I have fixed the router, made it work fine, i've reset the router, i've
changed the firmware. OTHER PC"S can update, VISTA ULTIMATE, XP HOME, XP PRO
64bit, AND ANOTEHR VISTA PREMIUM edition as well can ALL EASILY FREELY
connect, AND UPDATE.

It's JUST MY LAPTOP that CANNOT UPDATE for f*'s sake. And whenever I try to
get MANUAL DOWNLOAD UPDATES, I cannot dang well FIND IT, and it keeps telling
me to use the WINDOWS UPDATE.....which i'm TRYING TO AVOID....because it
KEEPS DISCONNECTING ME.........


Any help, HIGHLY APPRECIATED for this is REALLLLLLLY annoying.

And yes.... i've updated my mobo, wireless AND network cards inside this
laptop. FIRMWARE for bios, EVERYTHING...
