Security Update for Office XP (KB944423) fails to install
After sellecting Express Install, I get a pop-up window stating that the
security update did not install. There were no error messages or reasons why.
I tried again and again, and it keeps doing the same thing. Other security
patches for Windows install okay, but not this one for Office XP 2007. I
tried rebooting which did not help, and I made sure that the Office XP
service pack was up to date. I could find nothing in the MS knowledge base to
resolve this. Any help would be appreciated.
