Windows Update for Vista won't load properly

Windows update does not load completely. I don't see any text. I can't get it
to work. Windows Update is turned on. I disabled my Antivirus software and it
did not help. I tried the solution given somewhere around here, but it did
not work. Vista won't let me rename the Softwaredistribution forlder.

Does anybody know how to fix this?
