Computer Problems

I installed the most rescent updates into my computer. After doing so and
doing the required restart, Windows Explorer won't load properly, which
in-turn I cannot access the Start Menu. I can however access the icon on the
desktop. Whenever I point the cursor to the taskbar at the bottom, and hour
glass appears, but I cannot click on anything. If anyone has a fix for this,
please let me know. Thanks.
