The admin logon failed immediately after the latest Windows Update

My admin logon failed immediately after the latest Windows update. The error
message is "The User Profile Service service failed the logon.". The
standard user account log is ok. I could not even restore the system. I
went to F8 screen while I rebooted. The "Repair Your PC" option started
Windows, not allowing me to go to the next screen to select System Restore
option.

Please help.
