Yes I know it takes a Genius to get your system down and to get it up as
well again it takes a genius too
Old does not by any means it cannot work proper with it.
Unfortunately it is quite hard to be of any assistance if you do not answer
specific questions, the answers are needed to narrow down the cause of your
computers problem.
What operating system are you running?
Did you upgrade the audio driver before when the blue screens started
appearing? And if so did you try back rollling back on the driver?
Did you change any of the bios settings before the blue screens appeared?
What error code is the blue screen presenting you with? something like this
must be in presented in the blue screen : STOP ERROR 0x0000007f
(0x00000008, 0x80042000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
Did you try to download and install the driver from Realtek?

What type of Realtek audio card is used in your laptop, if you do not know
this can you give the brand and type of laptop you are using?
