windows update cannot search for updates error code 80080005

Last succesful check for updates was 2/13. Last succesfuld installation of
updates was 2/12. I think there have been updates since 2/13. Tried renaming
softwaredistribution folder and then check for updates but got same error
message. Any ideas on how to solve this?
