Re: Update to IE7 and Corrupt MFT
It's a Partition virus people ! I seriously doubt it's from IE7, I have the
same thing on one of my machines now . It's an installed bundle of malware
that attaches to ur hard drive . If it's installed correctly, The only way to
remove it is to install another hard drive or if you have another system you
the Anti-Spyware tools and hope they pick up the infections . Don't bother
with the CHKDSK Feature of Windows, The files that the tool depends on become
corrupted and will remove the errors but the malware just reinstalls them
after the next boot . I found that if you use the "CHKDSK/R" you might
recover delete traces of the malware !
