failed updates

I am using window xp with automatic updates,but it shows that I have 81
failed updates and I cannot download them.Is there some way to correct this?

Try this

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from
Microsoft Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows
XP installation

OR

There is also a third-party fix which has had good results for a number of
folks here:
Dial-ª--Fix
<http://wiki.djlizard.net/Dial-a-fix>

Run this program with all the functions activated in safe mode. --it may
look as if the scan has frozen. DAF is actually doing lots of shoveling and
shuffling, so don't interrupt it.

Dial-ª-fix

Exit Safe Mode (Reboot)

Try the updates n0w

hi engel..thank for your sugestion. I'm one of people having problem with
update windows. I'm used windows xp home edition. All critical update
sucessful download but it can't installed. pls advice. Tq

I just want to say thank you for the info. This fixed my update problem.
I couldent get none of the 89 updates. Now thanks to you I now have them all.
