RE: Windows update not functioning
I'm having the same problem. Windows update won't download any updates. I
have a clean install on a Fujitsu Stylistic tablet, and after selecting
updates to download Windows Update just says "Downloading updates (0KB total,
0% complete) forever.
In the mean time, the disk light is on solid, and system performance is
terrible. The only way to get control back from the system is to shut down
Windows Update from the task manager, or force a hard reboot.
No applications have been installed on this computer - only Windows Vista.
The only update that has worked is updating Windows Update. All downhill
from there. I want to get it updated to the latest bug fixes before
installing anything, but it's just not working out.
Help!?
