After 1/08/2008 series of updates windows started working very slo

After the update Windows works very slow and consumes a lot of resources.
Before the updates the maximum amount of RAM used was 553MB now it uses 998MB
for same operations. I have trouble starting even the easiest tasks like
Internet or Word. Sometimes it becomes necessery to press the same link up to
5 tumes for it to open.
Can anyone help with a solution. Uninstaling theseupdates isn't working,
they simply don't uninstall. Restoring to an earlier time doesn't work as
well.

.. 1.Your dump files: @Internet Explorer- go to “tools� go to “internet
options� go to “browsing history� now start the big dump by cleaning it up.

2.Have you looked at your windows’ task manager (right click tool bar) see
“resource monitor’ and services� to see what the heck is consuming you
resources? Check your start menu and see what loading. Your dump files:

3.Always restart you computer immediately after updating. I say this because
I had the same problem as you (may or may not be related). I was too busy to
restart and forgot further after I made other system changes and when I
finally did restart it was a mess.

I hope this has helped. A lot of issues I have had were faulted to Under
Ramed.
