Updates not installing

Automatic updates on win xp sp2 fails to install any updates.

can anyone help?

Try: -
Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft Update, or by
using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP installation

If no joy, report back with further details, for example error codes.

I don't think Lohann mentioned anywhere that he did a repair job on Windows XP.
