2007 office suite service pack 1

Hi,
I recently bought 2007 home & student. The service pack update was
apparently downloaded to my computer, but will not install. I keep getting a
failure to install notice. Is anyone else having the same problem ? Any
suggestions to fix this problem?
The programs are running fine, I just am not able to install this update for
some reason.

Forgot to add the error code which is: 0x80070663

Error message when you try to install some of the Office...updates: "No
valid sequence could be found for the set of patches":

Hi,
I went into my registry to verified that the HKEY-codepage items listed were
indeed in my registry. I found two which were not 867 & 868. I entered them
into the registry, however, the service pack 1 for office 2007 still did not
install.
I downloaded another update for my system, which did install, do you have
any other suggestions why this particular update won't install?
