Problem with Microsoft and Windows Updates on Windows XP SP2

When I'm trying to update my PC (running on Windows XP SP2), I end up seeing
the message below on my browser:

Eltor I too had the same problem. Please see my post below from January 6,
2008 for a fix. It works fine thanks to TaurArian's direction.
