Updates wont update.

I get told that i have 13 new updates, so i download them all and then
installed them. After restarting, windows configures the updates before
entering the log on screen. After this is done and i log on i keep being told
i still have 13 updates and when i check they are all the same, they keep
coming back. I have tried this 3 or 4 times but still they appear. I dont get
any error codes just when i look into the updates and if they where
successfull or not they say they have failed, this just concerns me as most
of them are labled important. Please help me fix this as i want my laptop up
to date.

Open Windows Update and review your history.

Locate the update/s that have failed to install (you can view further information about
the failed update/s by double-clicking the update )

Then post back. Maybe someone can help further.
