failed instalation of windows updates

Hi i gotta problem with instaling all the windows updates I have downloaded
them but it will not instal them

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft
Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP

***READ ABOVE under "windows installer and installing". You probably have the
same "windows installer" problem.

Try this Update agent to help your wups2.dll file

When I clicked on the agent link and tried to run it I got an error message
that it was the wrong type of file to go where it was trying to go.
