Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1

I am having the same problem as Pamela. This update won't install. It
actually looks like it already did, but all autoupdate attempts and direct
update from the website have failed. What should I do?

You will not need to install both .NET Framework 1.1 and .NET Framework 1.1
SP1. just the latter.
