(Vista) problem with update

(Vista) problem with update

in the start menu the restart, switch user menu displays a (!) and when
clicked on asks for windows to restart to install update how ever the update
is installed 8 times now and still the (!) is displayed. I looked at the list
of installed updates and right enough the same 1 has been installed over and
over! What can I, or should I do?
