keeping windows update files or dreamscene installation files
Hi,
how can i keep my windows update files or windows extra (dreamscene,...)
installation files for later use when reinstalling windows so that i won't
need to download them all?

You can download most updates for Vista from the Microsoft Update
Catalog, which has replaced the Windows Update Catalog, and save them:

http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx

Not having Vista installed, I can't say for sure if Dreamscene is
available on the MS Catalog or, if it's included in Vista's Service
Pack1, which I highly doubt since it's an extra and would depend on the
Version of Vista that's installed.
