error code 80040154

I am having exactly the same problem every time I try to update.

I have crawled google looking for any answers and the only one I found
was to disable windows defender. This didn't work so I am still
looking for an answer.

P.S. - windows really need to get there act togeather with things like
this or there going to loose a lot of customers, me being one. I would
have recommended a new vista pc to anyone back in feburary when I
first upgrades but now I'd recomment a mac.

Exactly the same problem as...? Which updates...?

sorry didn't mean to make a new post ment to reply to another post.

Do you have any ideas on this error anyway. Every time I try to update
i get that error.
