Activex Controls

I need to install Activex Control or enable it. There is supposed to be a
drop box in internet explorer that i should be able to right click on and
then click on install activex control. But, a drop box does not show up.
Any ideas on an alternate route?

You can try to make your security settings of your Internet Explorer to
default and check the status.

start -> run -> inetcpl.cpl

security tab-> click on all four icons in it and click on default level for
one by one.

Windows version? IE version? How does your question related to Windows
Update?

Try installing the ActiveX Control after rebooting into Safe Mode with
Networking.
