no updates will install

I truely am at an end as to installing updates,If someone can tell me what to
do to get updates to install I would be greatful.I have XP and the only thing
that has installed is SP-2 and windows installer

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft
Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP
installation:

I'm having loads of trouble with updates .When I removed computer runs very
well indeed,no trouble I knowe people do not install updates only the very
serious ones and turn off the auto and they run a business on the internet
and have no problems.I might uninstall all the updates for the 5th time

Go to Start > Run > type in or copy&paste the below into the Open: line

%windir%\kb893803v2.log

Click OK or press Enter
The installation log for Windows Installer 3.1 [KB893803v2.log] will
open. Please copy and paste the contents of it into your reply.

You're email address is showing as darwin AT aoldotcom. That's why it's
appearing as from Darwin in your newsgroup posts.
If that's not your email address than strongly suggest that you do a
scan for malware here using Internet Explorer:
