Error with Windows 2000 Service pack 4

We have already installed Service Pack 4 succesfully and also the restart of
the system was done.
But now we want to install a software, where the error occurs that Service
pack 2 or higher is necessary.
So why the system doesn`t know that we have installed Service Pack 4
already?! Anybody can help please?
Otherwise can anybody give a link were Service Pack 2 is supported for an
german installation of Windows 2000?
We just need Service Pack 2 or higher-please help us :-)
