RE: December Security Update Problems
I have had a very similar problem with my computer. I can't use any restore
point at all. I have tried several and my husband has tried many others. I
had it set to do automatic updates. I found SIX security updates including 2
which were not listed at microsoft's website as being authentic (KB942763 and
KB042840). Since then, every time I try to access the internet using IE, it
says there is a problem and has to shut down. It usually takes 5 tries to
get online. I am posting this using the Mozilla/Firefox browser which isn't
affected - yet. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thank you so much,
Sharon Pilgrim
