Windows 2000 Pro login

After doing the monthly Tuesday Microsoft update and rebooting. There are 3
users on this PC. The main user, with full Admin rights, logs on as usual
and the user name and password are accepted. Then what is presented is a
screen just as if you were a new user. All icons and e-mail is as if new
user. I can find the user files in Document and Settings folder and
everything is intact. I just want to have my desktop back with my programs
and icons and e-mail (outlook express).
