Re: Service Pack Due Date

To uninstall Windows Vista SP1 use the following steps:


1. Click on the Start Menu and go to Control Panel

2. Double click on Programs and Features

3. On the left side menu, select View Installed Updates

4. Under the list of Microsoft Windows, select Service Pack for Windows
(KB936330)

5. On the top menu, click on Uninstall


I can not get the service pack to show "uninstall" in the top menu where
view, organize, etc. Is there a way to manually remove the service pack?

You have decided to install a non-final version of the Windows Vista Service
pack 1 (Release Candidate...) I do hope you did not install this patch on a
working/production PC.

So this does not work?

Open the Programs and Features control panel and select View installed
updates. In the Microsoft Windows section, right-click Service Pack for
Windows (936330) and select Uninstall.

That is what I did and the item would not highlight on the installed update
list with an "uninstall" reference in the line above. Other installed
updates show an installation option. This si stumping me.
