Error code 0x80242006 during update for Windows XP (KB934238)

I am using Windows XP Home SP2. I discovered that for last few updates,
there is a failed update (KB934238) and return an error code of 0x80242006.
I cannot find a similar discussion here so I ask any of you for help to get
the update correctly.

Hi Engel,

I cannot get the problem solved. I went to the link, get some info about
downloading a language pack for the .NET framework 3.0 (yes, few days ago at
some program installation, it required me to install the .NET framework 3.0.
and it seems that the problem appeared since then). I did it and retried the
updating, the KB934238 still cannot be updated.

Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks

i figured out how to down load the updates. put in error code 0x80080008
error code to find and guess what it walks you write through it and
then everything from all the other error codes are fixed i couldnt
belive it
