No MSXML nor kernel update, so most of the "possible" quirks are ruled out.

I am actually not so fortunate... I awoke this morning to a frozen windows
XP boot screen. After a power cycle or 3, I was able to get to the option
screen to choose safe mode. I did, and the computer will not even re-start
in safe mode.

After another power cycle, I chose "use last known config" which did bring
my system back to life.

I am now in the process of making restore points, and installing the updates
one at a time to see which one caused my problem.

I would have started my own thread on this, but I can't seem to from firefox
on my mac as my PC is updating and rebooting.
