Error 80070002

I have read many postings regarding this error message. What I don't see
however is the fix. I've done everything and the problem persists. I havn't
had any updates in months. Can someone please tell me how to get my updates
to work?

Since you failed to mention which version of Windows is installed, read

Sorry that I "failed to mention which version of Windows" I am using. It is
Vista and I've already followed all those instructions as has many before me
and it still doesn't work. I just got off the phone with tech support. After
spending nearly 3 hours on the phone my problem is still not fixed.
