Re: Frustrating Updates on Dialup
What you see may be normal.Updates download automatically to a low
priority.
If your computer is doing anything on the network, download of updates
may slow or stop.
Open Windows/Microsoft Update
Click Settings on the left side and change the option to notify but
not download.
Then when you are notified, you can choose when to go to
Microsoft/Windows Update and get the updates at a time convenient for
you.
