Vista's Update KB941649 Failure with Error Code 80070002

I am using Windows Vista (TM) Build 6000. When I tried to install new Windows
Vista Impotant Update KB941649; which was available automatically; it failed
and the message error Code 80070002 came out. I tried the "Get Help" button
and it asked me to stop Windows Update Service and then restart it again,
then empty all the updaters files and reupdate the file. When I tried to
reupdate the file, it failed again.

Is there any help somewhere ?
How important is this particular update?
