WSUS 3.0 and Vista
I recently got a Windows Vista Business machine. We currently run WSUS 3.0 on
our network using GPO.
Everything works with Windows XP. Our policy is currently set up so that the
machines download the updates and allow the user choose when to install them.
I am able to approve updates and I recieve a message on my Vista machine
stating that I have updates waiting to be installed. When I click on the
system tray icon or the message I am presented with the windows update
window. However, there is no button to allow me to install the updates.
All our updates have a deadline of one week from approval, so they do
eventually install automatically, but I would like the option to install
them.
