windows updates

Seems im not the only one with this major problem of getting updates to load,
after upgrading to windows xp. Says an installer is needed then that wont
install..tried this over and over. Then went into change settings, still cant
get anything working. I'm going in circles with this. Has anyone out there
found a solution?

Is SP2 for XP integrated into your Windows XP installation CD or not?
