My father in law installed this version today and restarted the machine, now
windows wont open and hangs on the 'welcome to windows xp' page. Anyone else
found this?
Same problem with Windows 2003 server. When your PC is still on power it off by pressing the power switch 5 seconds. Then switch the PC on and press F8 after the BIOS initialization. A menu appears. Choose "last known good" configuration. Then all will be fine (at least with my system).
success,
Erik
