New WUA 3.x Client (Nov 07)
Hi,

I notice there's a new version of the WUA 3.x client, but the file name
is the same as the old v3 client, e.g. on 32bit the file name is

WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe

or you can just update it using AU or from within Control Panel
depending on your settings. On Vista 32bit my version reads

v7.0.6000.381

after the update.

My question is, what exactly is new/different about this udpate, where
are the release notes, and does it change anything related to the WUA SDK.

Thanks.

The only "new client" is a newer build, available only to systems who visit
the WU/MU online site. That build has some 'feature' or 'need' specific to
the use of WU/MU, thus is not distributed via WSUS -- both builds work
perfectly with WSUS.
