Update 890830 keeps updating

Downloaded and installed four new updates (Vista OS). All installed. Update
890830 Malicious software removal tool for Nov installed 3 times and says it
was sucessful. updates history shows it was sucessful. I hid it the
update. How do I know if it really installed?
